This time, I was not sitting in the stroller like before. They decided to let me get some dirt on my shoes :)
At first, mommy tried to guide me.

But mom, you are so slow… Old already arhh? A young lady like you should be able to walk faster. I was so bored

Let daddy try.

The first time is in the early morning. At first I felt so happy because I was kept quarantined for several weeks already. I got to travel to a different destination today.

We went to the top floor of the hospital. Wow, very nice view through the glass door!

When it was my turn, I quickly realized that they are going to take my blood sample! I am so scared and I cried like hell. I’m helpless :( There is no use to fight back, but I still gave some hard resistance anyway. They finally got my blood and let me go.

Later at noon we went back to see the doctor.

Mommy and daddy hope for a better result. But disappointingly, my neutrophil level is still 3%, same as two weeks before.

Doctor said not to worry. Some symptom shows that I’m recovering. But I don’t think that mom will ever stop worrying about me :(
I’m categorized as severe neutropedia -patient with extremely low neutrophil.

Daddy and mommy took care of me all the time there.

But mommy is still very worry of my health. My neutrophil level from the blood test result showed 1% at first. Then the second test 5 days later showed 2%. On the third test just before I left the hospital, the level had increased to 3%!

This is a great growth but why is mommy still so worry? Doctor said neutrophil is like the soldier in our body who can fight all the unfriendly substances like bacteria. And the usual level shall be about 50%.

Seems like most of the soldiers died during the virus invasion :(
Don’t worry, I’m a strong boy.

I asked Daddy what is Patrick’s Daddy’s name, Daddy said don’t know. So I give him the same last name as mine. Meet Patrick, Patrick Lau.

Since then, I bring Patrick to wherever I go.

When I am sleeping, Patrick will keep me warm.. (and also keep my head upright..)

When I am awake, Patrick will play with me… (and also let me bully without any complain..)

You can take away my pacifier, but you can’t take away my Patrick..
