Yummie yummie….. I like Mommy’s milk

There are 4,000 species of mammals, and they all make a different milk. Human milk is made for human infants, and it meets all their specific nutrient needs.

But sucking mommy’s nipple is a lot of work. Since I am a pre-term baby, I was too weak on the first few days to be able to suck milk out of mommy’s nipple. And I desperately need feeding. So I was fed using bottle. Doctor said this might cause nipple confusion. These two feeding methods require completely different mouth and tongue motions and swallowing skills.

Since I am already confused, sometimes I will just practice sucking .. and sucking .. sucking …

Mommy just let me use the bottle .. and forget about direct nursing. I am taking about 14 ounces of mommy’s milk daily (that’s the supply) and also formula milk (Enfalac A+). I think I prefer mommy’s milk.. yummie yummie..
